Privacy Policy
How Long Tho works entirely on your device. There is no server, no account, no backend, no tracking, no ads.
What we don't do
- We don't have a server. There's no backend, no account system, no login.
- We don't collect analytics or usage data.
- We don't include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
- We never sell or share your data, because we don't have it.
What the app accesses, and why
- Calendar and Reminders (via Apple's EventKit) — read on your device only, so you can start a countdown from an upcoming event or reminder. Never transmitted anywhere, including to us.
- Alarms and notifications (via Apple's AlarmKit and UserNotifications) — used to schedule the countdown alerts and daily reminder you set. Stay entirely within iOS.
- Live Activities (via Apple's ActivityKit) — powers the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island countdown card. Local to your device.
iCloud sync
Your app settings (like your daily reminder time or sound preferences) sync across your own devices using Apple's iCloud key-value storage. This data lives in your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's own privacy policy — we never see it.
Diagnostics
If you've opted in to "Share With App Developers" in iOS Settings, Apple may share anonymized crash reports with us to help fix bugs. This is controlled entirely by your iOS settings, not by anything in the app itself, and we can't identify you from it.
Children's privacy
How Long Tho doesn't collect personal information from anyone, at any age — including children. The app is built for all ages.
